I am very pleased with all of my Sonimus products, they are inspired by my favourite analogue classics, yet bring something that is distinctly Sonimus to the world of plugins.

I like that they are a small boutique company who concentrate on quality not quantity, and who have a licensing process that is painless and respects the customer.

Having said that, I always look forward to their new products with expectation, I would love an API inspired Channel Strip to compliment their Britson and Satson iterations.

I have the Satson CS rack which I use on mixes when I want a bit of “edge”. It has a large amount of useful presets but I would have liked them to have been catalogued by type as well as by their creators. Other than that it’s a great and very versatile tool! John Jackson

    For Burnley 73.

Review by Toby Pearce for onetrackperweek.com

Working to a strict production schedule of completing one track every week, it’s vital that I have the right tools at my fingertips. The Sonimus plugins are my secret weapons – they bring a touch of analog to my music. The Burnley 73 is perfect compliment to modern EQs, which are often infinitely adjustable. The parameters are pre-adjusted, which makes finding only the most musical frequencies easier and faster. The Saturation knob adds the final magic, and I often use it to add cohesion to my busses. After many years, I wouldn’t be without this tool.

    I’m MazQ and using Satson.
I put some character to a track using gain knob. especially used track that has attack or punch.
I love it as well as Sonnox inflator.

I have the demo version of SONEQ Pro and I value the simplicity of this EQ. Having only two Q widths allows me to make quick adjustments without limiting my options to get a pleasing sound. – Andrew D

I’ve been playing with these over the last month or so and a few of these are really becoming favorites. I also like the fact that there’s no lock requirement. Registration is done via a registry update in Windows and that’s something I’ve never seen before. It’s quite clever.
